I am not arguing that C++ is worse. Rust has its own problems and C++ has its own. Though, I think Rust is the only language/ecosystem that has a very good chance of taking big chunks of markets solely owned by C and C++ and they are not agile enough to prevent that from happening, essentially using all one argument “everything is written in C/C++”. That is not enough anymore.
